The difference between psychics and mediums

Mediums have the unique experience of always being able to access their gifts. This is a double edged sword because a small child doesn’t always know how to process the information and be able to cope with the knowledge that they may spend all day encountering strangers on another plane of existence. If they are lucky, they will have an understanding support group who will embrace their gifts.

These gifts are inherent from birth.  Mediumship is a very special gift and it takes time and effort to hone these skills.  One thing to understand is that all mediums are psychic. Not all psychics are mediums. Psychics have learned how to access their gifts. The talent of a medium is inherent.

How do you know if you have any psychic ability? Ask yourself if you have ever had moments when your intuition spoke to you and prevented you from doing something that later ended badly. If you have, you have experienced your natural psychic ability guiding you on your life journey.

There are some things you can do to strengthen your intuition.  Take a book and before opening it, ask yourself if you know what is one the page. This is best done in a space where you can quiet your mind.  Then open the book.

You can also try this with other every day tasks. See if you can predict little things, like which way the car in front of you will turn.  Or who will be the first person to speak to you when you go to work.  Before opening your mailbox, still your mind and see if you can predict how many pieces will be there.

The important thing to know is that everyone is a bit psychic , but not everyone can be a medium.  A medium can speak to others who have passed over.  When you are seeking to consult a medium.  Find one that you can trust and with whom you have a rapport.  This will help you get the best reading possible.
