Feng Shui and Bedroom Décor
3 min readFeng shui is a way that you can master the energy in your home and one of the best rooms to work on is your bedroom. If you need better relationships, find out what feng shui says to do.
If you live with your partner then there will be a lot of things that are going on in the bedroom such as snuggling, having sex, and watching television. It is important that you make this place an intimate place for you and your partner.
Feng shui experts talk about how clutter gets you stuck. They talk about how the space in your bedroom can determine what your relationship will look like. The space is meant to be a romantic space and if you want to have a good relationship then you need to dedicate your bedroom to the relationship.
Do you want to know how to support your relationship by using feng shui? Here’s how!
- Declutter
Start by decluttering since the bedroom is a place where you should sleep and relax and be intimate. This means that you don’t need a bunch of books or pictures laying around and get rid of anything that is related to your job.
- Use Symmetry
Symmetry is a plan that will promote your relationship to be in sync. Having a nightstand on each side of the bed is important even if they aren’t the same table. When there isn’t balance, it can cause the relationship to be imbalanced. Correct this and it will make the relationship better. This goes with mirrors or décor as well.
- Take Mirrors Off the Wall
You shouldn’t have mirrors in front of the bed. Mirrors are meant to bring up past energy and feng shui says that mirrors are charged with energy, and they can cause there to be no rest or sleep. Keep mirrors in other places.
- Pick Romantic Artwork
No matter what your relationship status is, the artwork that you have in your bedroom is the energy that you’re going to bring into your life. If you want to have romance in your bedroom, find romantic scenes to hang. Hang pictures of couples that are in love. Don’t use groups of three like three people or thee animals. If you’re single, don’t use artwork that has solo people or animals in it.
- Keep the Bed Away from the Wall
Don’t put the bedside against a wall. You don’t want to have to climb over your partner or have them climb over you to get in and out of the bed. The person that sleeps on the side of the bed that has the wall has to go through the other person and this takes away their energy. Make sure that you can get in and out on both side of the bed.
- Get a Headboard
A headboard supports a relationship, and you should buy one that is wood or fabric. Find one that has a solid surface so that you can create positive, supportive space. Having no headboard brings in negative energy.
- Choose Chic Bedding
Make sure that your bedding is comfortable and find bedding that feels like a cloud. Don’t use boring bedding.
- Pay Attention to Your Physical Space
Notice the physical space that you’re taking up. Look at your closet and make sure that you have equal space in your closet and that you use the minimalist idea. Make sure that your partner has the equal amount and that they feel represented in the bedroom.
- Choose the Right Colors and Lighting
The bedroom should have the right amount of lighting and should use warm and monochromatic color schemes. Don’t use bright or bold colors. You want to make sure that you don’t have a big overhead light and that you use ambient lighting that is soft and can be set for romantic times.
